Milk Education is working with a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support children as they develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

The Role

• Support children across Nursery and Reception
• Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
• Support learning through structured and child-led play
• Help children develop communication, social and emotional skills
• Work alongside the class teacher to prepare engaging activities
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

About You

• Previous experience working within EYFS, nursery or a primary school
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach
• Good understanding of children’s early development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about giving young children the best possible start to their education
