Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in L17, Liverpool, to recruit a Health & Social Care Teacher to start as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Health & Social Care graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced Health & Social Care Teacher who is keen to inspire students, build confidence, and support academic achievement across KS3 and KS4.

The Role as a Health & Social Care Teacher
As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will work with students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and informative lessons that encourage critical thinking and develop students’ understanding of health, wellbeing, social care, and the wider care sector. You may be supporting students preparing for assessments or vocational qualifications in Health & Social Care.
Key Responsibilities as a Health & Social Care Teacher
• Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support students in developing confidence, communication skills, and subject knowledge
• Prepare pupils for assessments, examinations, and coursework requirements
• Adapt lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs
• Encourage participation and positive behaviour through engaging teaching strategies
• Track student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Build positive relationships to motivate and inspire learners
• Create an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed
The Ideal Candidate as a Health & Social Care Teacher
• A degree in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Childcare, or a related subject, or previous experience teaching Health & Social Care
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Health & Social Care
• Experience teaching or working with secondary-aged students is desirable
• Open to both recent graduates and experienced teachers
• Confident, adaptable, and engaging communication style
• Passion for education and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
