KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher- September 2026
We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Standish (WN6) to work on a temporary, long-term basis!
The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is to start in September 2026 and will run until December 2026. This KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30am- 16:00pm.
The role of a KS1/KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups, covering PPA as and when required. You will be given a timetable to follow each week, and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
- Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
- A teaching qualification with QTS
- Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
