We are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sheffield from September. The position is available on a long-term, short-term, temporary, permanent or temp-to-perm basis, depending on your preferences and the school’s needs.

The Role

As the class teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.

  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team to raise attainment and promote pupil wellbeing.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement across the classroom.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

  • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for delivering outstanding learning experiences.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A positive, flexible approach and commitment to supporting every child’s development.

Pay: This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your daily rate will be determined by your teaching experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the assignment.
