EYFS Teacher – Nottingham

We’re currently recruiting for an EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.

You’ll be joining a nurturing and inclusive school that is passionate about providing children with the best possible start to their education. The school places a strong emphasis on wellbeing, creativity and developing children’s confidence through engaging and purposeful learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher or ECT who is passionate about early childhood development and creating inspiring learning experiences.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
  • Supporting children’s communication, language and personal development
  • Providing high-quality phonics and early mathematics teaching
  • Using play-based learning to support children’s development
  • Assessing and recording pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS or Reception
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience delivering phonics and early reading
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Creative, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
