We’re currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in BL4 on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, starting in September.

You’ll be joining a supportive, inclusive school with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, positive relationships and community. The school is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children feel confident, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all pupils

• Creating a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported and motivated to learn

• Differentiating lessons and adapting resources to support pupils of different abilities

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing appropriate support and challenge

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and the wider school team

• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence

• Contributing to the wider life of the school and building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

Requirements or Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A genuine passion for helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
