We’re currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a forward-thinking primary school in M27 on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, starting in September.

You’ll be joining a vibrant, ambitious school with a strong focus on high expectations, positive relationships and pupil achievement. The school is committed to creating an engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to be curious, develop their confidence and take pride in their progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher, ECT or someone looking for their next exciting school-based role to become a valued member of a dedicated and collaborative teaching team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all pupils

  • Creating a purposeful classroom environment where children feel confident, motivated and ready to learn

  • Differentiating lessons and adapting resources to ensure all pupils can make progress

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate support and challenge

  • Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider school staff

  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement

  • Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting its positive ethos

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for inspiring children and helping them reach their potential

  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
