We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Sheffield that is looking to appoint a committed Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in children’s learning and development while working alongside experienced teaching professionals.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Work with individuals and small groups to help pupils reach their full potential.

  • Provide additional support for children with varying learning needs.

  • Help create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.

  • Assist with classroom preparation, displays and learning resources.

  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and social development.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Has recent experience working within a UK primary school.

  • Has a positive, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

  • Has a genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
