Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rotherham that is seeking a motivated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in reaching their full potential while working alongside experienced teachers in a positive learning environment.

Whether you have experience supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.

  • Work with individual pupils and small intervention groups to raise attainment and confidence.

  • Assist children with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required.

  • Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Prepare learning resources and support classroom activities.

  • Encourage pupils’ independence, social development and love of learning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Recent experience working within a UK primary school.

  • A positive, proactive and nurturing approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development.
