Speech & Language Support Assistant

Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Sutton to recruit a Speech & Language Support Assistant.

Working alongside the school’s SEND team, you’ll support pupils with speech, language and communication needs through targeted interventions and classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language interventions under guidance.
• Support pupils during classroom learning.
• Encourage communication, confidence and social interaction.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Help create an inclusive learning environment.

About You

• Experience supporting children with speech and language needs is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive.
• Passionate about supporting children’s development.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
