Student Progress Coach
We’re seeking Student Progress Coaches to join Primary Schools based across North Durham.
You’ll be joining welcoming and nurturing schools that put wellbeing and community at the center of everything they do. It’s a great role for someone who wants to become a familiar face in schools that values consistency.
Whether you’re looking to get into teaching or have valuable transferable skills from other industries (eg: support work, coaching, healthcare) – this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Progress Coach – Requirements or Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
Progress Coach – Main Responsibilities:
- Inspire children to engage in lessons consistently
- Encouraging independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills
- Supporting learners by providing one-to-one or small group assistance
- Maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality, following school policies
