A welcoming primary school in Worksop is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 while making a real difference to their learning, confidence and development.

The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development.

Provide targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and phonics.

Help create a positive, safe and nurturing classroom environment.
-
Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
-
Encourage positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Assist with classroom preparation and day-to-day learning activities.
The Ideal Candidate
-
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).

Has previous experience working within a UK primary school.

Is confident supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

Has a caring, patient and positive approach.

Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Is flexible, reliable and committed to helping every child succeed.

Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
Desirable Skills
-
Experience delivering phonics interventions (Read Write Inc., Little Wandle or similar).
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
-
Knowledge of the National Curriculum.

First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
