Milk Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Sheffield that is looking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference while working within a supportive and nurturing school environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development.

  • Help create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Support children with a range of learning needs, including those requiring additional interventions.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

  • Encourage children’s confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

  • Previous experience working within a UK primary school.

  • A positive, patient and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
