We’re currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking primary school in M27 on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, starting in September.
You’ll be joining a vibrant, ambitious school with a strong focus on high expectations, positive relationships and pupil achievement. The school is committed to creating an engaging environment where children are encouraged to be curious, develop their confidence and take pride in their learning.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils across the classroom, both individually and in small groups

Working closely with the class teacher to support engaging and effective learning

Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and academic skills
-
Supporting children with additional needs and adapting activities where appropriate
-
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources and learning activities
-
Promoting positive behaviour and creating a focused, productive learning environment
-
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging them to reach their full potential
Requirements or Skills:
-
Recent experience working within a primary school or education setting is desirable
-
A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
A patient, enthusiastic and encouraging approach to supporting pupils
-
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Education, Childcare or a similar subject is desirable
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
