Secondary Teaching Assistant – Liverpool

Milk Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young people’s learning.
Role Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to aid progress
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Prepare learning materials and classroom resources
- Help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Provide general support across different subject departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A proactive, supportive, and positive approach
- Willingness to assist with SEN, behaviour, and academic support
- An understanding of safeguarding practices (training provided if required)
