Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Sheffield Primary School

The Role:
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the classroom.

Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.

Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential.

Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.

Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines.
-
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Has experience working with children or young people (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, youth work, childcare, camps or similar).

Is enthusiastic, patient and approachable.

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Is eager to develop a career within education.

Can adapt to the needs of different learners.

Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Is willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or already holds one on the Update Service).
