Year 1 Teacher

Milk Education are supporting a friendly and ambitious primary school in Croydon that is seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September.

The school is looking for someone who can inspire young learners while providing a smooth transition from Reception into Key Stage 1.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and creative Year 1 lessons.
• Support pupils with early phonics and literacy development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous Key Stage 1 teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of phonics.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
